Hello,Well, I am back in Colorado. Actually, I have been for over a month. I have been quite busy moving into a new apartment, looking for a house to buy, working and generally getting caught up on the past six months. I had a good trip back from the Ice. I vacationed for about a week in New Zealand, and then for nine days in California. While in New Zealand I rented a car and drove the three hundred miles down to Queenstown, which is a popular tourist/vacation area. I went there to go bungy jumping. It was lots of fun. I flew in a helicopter to the jump site, which is an old bridge that spans a gorge. The bridge is 70 meters, or 229 feet, above the river that flows swiftly through the gorge. There were six of us on the outing, and I was the second one to take the leap. The bungy jumping company video taped the jump and I purchased a copy of my jump. It came out pretty good. The drive through the center of the South Island of New Zealand was very nice. Much of the drive looked like California in that there were brown hills with sparse oak trees. The road went right by Mount Cook, which is the highest mountain in the country and has a permanent glacier. It was a spectacular sight.
While in California I visited many friends. I didn't do much, but I enjoyed the time off. I then headed back here to Colorado and to work. I am enjoying work quite a bit, even though it keeps piling up. I found an apartment to stay in until I find a place to buy. I figured it was about time to own something and stop paying rent. I have found a condominium not too far from work that is pretty cheap I am beginning the process of getting the loan to buy it right now. We shall see how it comes out. If all goes well I should move in by the end of May. My present address is:

Aurora, CO
I just returned a few days ago from a real quick trip to San Francisco for a computer database software developers conference. It was for only three days and was fairly short notice, so I was unable to visit anyone I know while I was there. It was a good trip, getting to see and talk with other programmers from around the country. I had a lot of explaining to do about what I did at a company called "Antarctic Support Associates."
I went snow skiing once not long after I got back. Most of the resorts are closed now, but a few are still open and will be for at least another month. I don't think that I will go skiing any more this season, though. There is too much other fun stuff to do now that the weather has warmed up around here. Our volleyball games of people from work start in a couple of days. Those are always lots of fun. I will be starting graduate school this Summer. I will take one course at a time at night school. The courses last seven weeks. If I continue this year round it is supposed to take two years to finish a Masters. I will most likely have to miss some due to going to the Ice, but I should not have to miss too much. Work will reimburse me for the cost of the tuition and books, also. My boss is also going through the same program, but she started a couple of years ago.
That's about all for now. Now you see why it has taken me so long to write, I didn't have much to say. I hope all is well with you.
